I am a creative person.
I used to wake up really early, before my parents, and I would spend the dawn hours drawing pictures with markers. I’d slide the drawings under their bedroom door so they’d discover them when they woke up.
On other mornings, I’d head down to the basement and build things with LEGOs. I was lucky to inherit a huge collection of LEGO pieces from my older brothers.
I enjoy complex technologies.
Later on, I got into building and racing radio controlled cars. Not the ones you’d buy at a toy store - the ones you build from a kit, from thousands of tiny parts. Gears, oil, springs, nuts and bolts, soldering wires to motors, instructions sometimes in Japanese. I learned that I am really great at constructing complex machines step by step. I started with Tamiya and Kyosho and eventually began racing Losi buggies.
Eventually I went to college and majored in art. I still love to build and create, so that is the focus of my work. The only difference is:

Over the past 20 years, I have learned how to create websites and ecommerce shops. I started doing this within the toys and collectibles space, but my work has branched out into many industries: veterinary, professional services, artist portfolios, emerging brands and products, and many more.

What is rewarding for me is learning about your ideas, crafting ways to push your ideas out into the world, and constructing the back end infrastructure to make it all happen.
My work includes:
creating shops and websites in Squarespace and Shopify
developing branding, messaging, assets and concepts
creating social media accounts, outreach strategies and the content needed for the content calendars, posts, emails, SMS and brand messaging
developing back end infrastructure in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, fulfillment, marketplaces, and DTC and B2B sales strategies
sorting through chaos to establish systems and SOPs, and clarifying vague ideas to carve a path forward
incorporating AI tools when appropriate, and creating with hand & brain when it feels better
tying the entire brand strategy together with community building, trade shows, partnerships, collaborations, apps and back end systems to make the entire machine hum
